Marte run...

chris on the slopesWe spent a week skiing and boarding in Las Leñas, we were lucky enough to get a massive 2m dump over the three days before we arrived... They even opened the Marte Chair for the first time for the season and chris took on the Marte run, known to break more arms and legs that any other run in South America... mainly due to it´s steep narrow chute spotted with boulders and partially uncovered, non-marked small tin sheds... go figure! Needless to say, he completed the run unscathed and in fine fashion!
We then continued onto Bariloche. Unfortunately they`ve had a terrible season, and after just one day skiing, we threw in the towel and opted for other sports. We´ve recently come to the realisation that we are snow snobs... and have been utterly spoilt by our previous ski holiday´s (thanks mum, dad and Grandma).
