El Calafate - Argentinean Patagonia

Chris risks hypothermia to retrieve a mini glacier from Puerto Onelli
Glaciar Upsala, over 200ft (120m) high

prety iceburgs

don´t worry, i didn´t get stuck

some of the iceburgs were the deepest of blues

and some of them sparkeled like chandaliers
a Whisky on the glacial rocks thanks

waves generated when shards of ice are shed by the Glaciar Perito Moreno

Glaciar Perito Morent grows 2m per day, and thus regularly sheds large chuncks... you can watch it happening... and boy do you hear it too!
