Liver failure in Santiago

visiting the vineyards... for a change!
dining out in Santiago´s old town

ok... so the story goes... we had a competition to see who was more Asian... the chick with Asian parents (even though she´s never been to Asia, and her dad doesn´t even speak any Asian languages), or the obnoxious Aussie who can eat a whole red chili and say about 10 words in Japanese. Someone may have gotten carried away and forcefed someone else the end of the chili ... and chris is pointing out the winner!

shakin the vegie´s the old fashioned way

girls having fun

Whilst on the Torres del Paine, Chris and I met a group of very fun Canadians who are living and studying in Santiago… so we stayed at Hotel Marim for a few nights and partied with the locals… our poor poor livers suffered big time, as did Marimñs flatmates furnature... so sorry Steffi!
We did manage to see a lot of the city sites and meet some fabulously fun people. We climbed the inner ity parklands, visited local vineyards, caught a Soccer game and even made it to a museum of modern art.
Big thanks to Marim, Marjo and Leslie… we love you guys!
